Vagabond
Take pictures. Find your people.
See you out there.
What it is
A map-first app for solo travelers — backpackers, digital nomads, slow travelers — to drop photos and check-ins at the places they visit, tag them with vibes, and find where other travelers are reporting good scenes right now.
Not a review site. Not an itinerary planner. Not a listicle of the “top 10 cafes in Chiang Mai” your friend’s cousin wrote in 2019. A living map of where the scenes are, built by the people who show up.
Who it’s for
- Travelers who’ve been in a new city 48 hours and want to know what’s actually good today.
- Nomads who find each other through word-of-mouth and wish word-of-mouth had a map.
- People who think Lonely Planet is a decade behind and TripAdvisor was never on time.
- Local businesses and merchants who want to tell travelers exactly what’s happening at their place right now — connecting travelers with the places that are looking for them.
How it works
- Open the map. See pools of color where the scenes are.
- Tap a pin. See who dropped it, when, what the vibe is.
- Check in or post a photo at a place that’s good right now. The map pulses louder.
- Everything else — your location, your routes, your trip plans — stays yours.
What we won’t do
- No ads.
- No social graph. No followers, no DMs, no notifications begging you to come back.
- No tracking for marketing.
- No upsells or paywalled cities.
